This 8 cup farberware coffeemaker has been around for many years, with good reason. Having used many different coffeemakers, I always come back to this electro-perculator. The coffee is always hot and is served at just the right temperature. It is simple to use and comes in a variety of sizes. For a simply delicious taste every time, this is the one to buy.

I was looking for a coffee machine that:* Brews coffee really hot (for best taste, coffee must be brewed around 200F).* No plastic parts (hot water and plastic should not mix for health reasons).* Non plastic permanent filter.* Under $100.This is the coffee machine that has all of the above. And it is only $30 (after coupon). I wish it had an on/off button and a light indicator. You have to unplug it, and many times I forgot it plugged.I was really surprised for those who complain about 2 year life. This is not a $200 product that will last lifetime. Next time buy these things with a good credit card like Amex or gold/platinium Visa/Mastercard. These cards extend the warrany by one year.

Cons: After about 2 years it no longer keeps the coffee hot
It is very fast to brew and love the taste of the coffee, but they never last over two years. I am on my last one now and will find another brand
