Review: The Samsung T240HD is a 24" widescreen HDTV LCD monitor that is designed to be as elegant looking on the outside as the images it produces. The monitor bezel features Samsungs Touch of Color, which blends a hint of color into the piano black frame making it look like a piece of art, even when turned off. It has a 10,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio and there is a built in full HD 1080p digital HDTV tuner allowing you to watch TV and HDTV in stunning quality. There are also VGA and DVI inputs for when it is used as a computer monitor. There is an "invisible" speaker system of two 3W speakers which can produce stunning Dolby Digital surround sound, making this a complete entertainment system for movies, music or games. The monitors over all dimensions are 22.56" x 18.78" x 9.65", it weighs 16 lbs and it has a swivel/tilt ... PROS: (1) Multiple inputs, including 2 HDMI, VGA, and DVI (2) TV tuner allows for monitor to be used as a TV (3) Crystal clear HD display (4) Wonderful size for a small-room TV (5) Competitive price compared to Dell and others ... CONS: (1) Almost too big as a monitor (depending on your distance and set up) (2) Lack of RCA audio output (3) Speakers are not very good; most will want to output from the headphone jack to a speaker system. (4) cheap non-ergonomic plastic stand
